My Story...

​

After completing his post-graduate Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2011, Dr Michael Wheeler completed his residency at Logan Hospital over 3 years where he gained experience in a number of fields. 

 

Michael describes having a passion for General Practice from a young age which he has carried since. He completed his GP training and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2017. Michael had been working in Brisbane until relocating to Sydney in November 2024. 

 

Michael is passionate about providing quality personalised care, reflecting current treatment guidelines. He enjoys the multiple presentations encountered in General Practice and developing solid therapeutic relationships with patients. He respects the importance of creating a non-judgemental, safe environment for patients.

His special interests include preventative medicine / health screening, mens health, mental health and paediatrics.

Outside of General Practice,  Michael is a keen traveller and always planning his next trip.  He is a proud parent of two miniature dachshund’s, enjoys the beach, gym and trying to improve his tennis game.
